Inlaying the Rosette
 Rosettes and trim are made from natural woods and, although following a general design theme, are unique to each instrument.
Current rosettes, purflings and centre lines are made from ebony, sycamore and box. The bindings are either the same wood as used for sides, or contrasting.
Commissioned instruments have the option for customised trim at no extra cost.
