2012 Prices

Prices for a Recital 1A or 1B start at £1985. This will secure a standard specification guitar with a Spruce or Cedar top and Indian Rosewood back and sides. It will include a full french-polished or rubbed oil finish, Gotoh* frictionless tuners and a Hiscox** hard case.

An initial deposit of £250 will secure the commission, with the balance due on completion. Shipping and insurance will be charged at cost.

Other back and side woods, such as Walnut, Maple and Cypress are available as extra cost options. Please call for details.

Additionally, if required, I will provide regular online video and/or photographic progress reports during the building process.

I believe Backshall guitars offer outstanding value for money, and that you would be hard pressed to find this quality at similar prices. Please feel free to contact me to discuss your requirements, or with any questions you may have.

* These are Gotoh's premier tuners and I now fit them as standard. Higher cost options are available, but the differences will be, in my opinion, purely aesthetic.
